What that does not change

Products are recommended on merit. Where the budget option is the right call, the recommendation says so, even though the commission is smaller. Where the honest answer is that you do not need the category at all, it says that too.

No brand pays for placement, for a rating, or for review approval before publication.

Where disclosure appears

Every page containing affiliate links carries a notice above the first link, in line with FTC guidance. If you find one that does not, it is an oversight and worth telling us about.

Advertising

Display advertising may run on articles. It will not run inside the tools. The tools are the reason anyone returns, and a calculator buried in ad units is a calculator people stop using.
